1. Who is responsible

Snooze Proof is published by Velixy, the trading name of Md Mehedi Hasan, sole proprietor, of Village Shakdah (Uttar Para), Post Penchibari, Dhunat, Bogra 5850, Bangladesh. For any privacy question about this App, contact creativecleancode@gmail.com.

This policy covers the App only. The privacy policy for the velixy.app website is separate, and each other app we publish has its own policy.

2. Scope

The App's Android package identifier is com.snoozeproof.missionalarmloudclock. The App provides an alarm clock that asks you to complete a mission, such as solving maths problems, a memory game, typing a phrase, shaking the phone, walking a number of steps, or scanning a QR code, before an alarm can be dismissed, together with wake-up statistics, Smart Wake, bedtime and hydration reminders, and a morning routine. Some features require the optional Snooze Proof Pro upgrade.

3. Information handled by the App

You can use the App without creating an account or directly providing your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment card details to Velixy.

4. What the App does not do

Snooze Proof has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or crash reporting of our own, and Velixy operates no servers for it, so we never receive what you put into the App. It does not collect your location, does not use your microphone, and does not sell, rent, or share your information.

A few things can leave your device without passing through us: Google ML Kit's usage and diagnostics data, purchase checks with Google Play and RevenueCat, and, if Android backup is on, a backup copy in your own Google account. Each is described below.

If you email us, for example with Send feedback in Settings, we receive your email address, your message, and the App version in the subject line, and use them only to reply to you and deal with what you raised.

5. Device permissions

The App asks only for what a reliable alarm needs. None of these permissions is used to collect or share data.

PermissionWhy it is used
Exact alarmsRing at the exact time you set, even while the phone is idle.
NotificationsShow the ringing alarm and its ongoing notification, and the reminders you turn on, such as bedtime, hydration, upcoming-alarm and missed-alarm notices.
Full-screen alertsShow the alarm over the lock screen and turn the screen on when it rings.
Run at startupSet your saved alarms again after the phone restarts.
Foreground service (media playback)Keep the alarm sound and vibration playing while it rings.
Physical activityOnly for the optional Walk It Off mission: the step sensor counts your steps while that mission is on screen. Steps are not recorded, stored, or sent.
CameraOnly for the optional QR Scan mission, while you register a code or while that mission is on screen. No photos or video are taken, saved, or sent.
Motion sensors (high sampling rate)Count shakes for the Shake mission and notice movement during a Smart Wake window. Readings are processed as they arrive and are not stored.
Foreground service (health)Keep Smart Wake monitoring running during the wake window you choose.
Vibrate and keep awakeVibrate, and keep the processor awake, while an alarm is ringing.
Internet and network stateNot used by the App's own features. These are added by the libraries the App uses: Google ML Kit, to send its usage and diagnostics data, and Google Play Billing and RevenueCat, to check purchases.
Battery optimisation (optional)The App can open Android's battery settings so you can choose to exempt Snooze Proof and stop the system from cutting the alarm off. You can decline or undo this at any time.

6. Camera and the QR Scan mission

If you choose the QR Scan mission, the App opens the camera while you register a code and while that mission is on screen. The live preview is analysed on your device to find the code, using the Google ML Kit library described below. The App does not take, save, or send photos or video, and does not recognise faces or people. The text of a code you register is saved with that alarm on your device.

7. Motion sensors and Smart Wake

The Shake and Walk It Off missions, and the optional Smart Wake feature, read your phone's motion and step sensors to count shakes and steps, or to notice when you stir during a wake window so the alarm can ring at a lighter moment. Readings are evaluated as they arrive and then discarded. The App does not log movement, record steps, or build a sleep record, and it sends no sensor data anywhere.

8. Alarm sounds and text-to-speech

The App plays your phone's default alarm sound, or a ringtone or audio file you choose. A chosen file stays where it is: the App keeps permission to read it and plays it only when that alarm rings. The optional Today's Outlook feature uses your phone's text-to-speech engine to read a short message aloud; that engine is part of your phone's software, and its handling of text is governed by your device settings and its provider. The App does not record audio.

9. Local storage and Android backup

The App keeps your data in its private storage on your device: a database for alarms, wake history, and water history; preference files for your profile, routine, and settings; and a reduced-size copy of a profile photo you pick, while the original stays in your gallery.

Android backup is enabled. Depending on your device, Google account, and backup settings, Android may back up the App's data to your Google account or move it to a new phone, including your alarms, wake history, profile, and settings. Pro status and which alarms are currently set stay with each phone: on a new phone, Pro is restored from Google Play and your alarms are set again the first time you open the App. Backup is controlled by Android and your Google account, not by Velixy servers, and we cannot access it.

10. Google ML Kit barcode scanning

The App reads QR codes and barcodes with Google ML Kit Barcode Scanning. Its detection model is bundled in the App and runs on your device, so camera images are analysed in memory and are not sent to Google or to Velixy.

ML Kit may send information about how its APIs are used to Google, such as usage counts, performance metrics, and device and app information for diagnostics, so that Google can maintain and improve ML Kit. It does not send camera images or the codes you scan. Google collects this under its own terms, and Velixy does not receive it.

  • Google Privacy Policy

11. Google Play in-app review and updates

When the App is installed from Google Play, it may ask the Play Store app whether an update is available, and occasionally show Google Play's rating prompt. These requests are handled by the Play Store app under Google's terms. The App sends no personal data with them, and Velixy does not learn whether or how you rated it.

  • Google Privacy Policy

12. Google Play purchases

The App offers an optional Snooze Proof Pro upgrade (a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase) through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Velixy does not receive or store your payment card number or full payment account details.

The App checks your purchase status to unlock Pro features, show which plan you have, and restore access if you reinstall the App using the same Google account. Google Play handles purchase confirmation, payment processing, receipts, refunds, and purchase history under Google's own terms and policies. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. Where a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then.

  • Google Privacy Policy

13. RevenueCat purchase management

Purchases are validated and entitlements are managed using RevenueCat, a service of RevenueCat, Inc. When you open the App or make a purchase, the RevenueCat SDK sends the purchase receipt issued by Google Play to RevenueCat so that your Pro status can be verified and restored on your devices.

RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier that the SDK generates on your device, the Google Play purchase token and product identifier, entitlement status, your store country, and basic technical information such as the App version, platform, and device model. The App does not sign you in to RevenueCat and does not send your name, email address, phone number, or payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play.

Collection of advertising and device identifiers by the RevenueCat SDK is switched off in the App.

14. Children's privacy

Snooze Proof is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age where you live. It has no accounts, chat, or social features, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Your choices

  • Camera and physical activity are only requested when you choose a mission that needs them, and can be revoked in Android Settings.
  • Delete alarms in the App, and delete all wake history (scores, streaks, and stats) with Settings › Clear wake history.
  • Export your alarms, wake history, and morning routine text with Settings › Export alarms & history, and import them on another phone. The file goes wherever you save it; the App does not send it anywhere.
  • Clear all App data in Android Settings › Apps › Snooze Proof › Storage › Clear data, or uninstall the App.
  • Manage Android backup through your Android or Google account settings.
  • Restore access through the App's restore purchase option, or manage purchases through Google Play.
  • Cancel or change a subscription in the Google Play Store app, under Payments & subscriptions.

16. Retention and deletion

Everything the App stores stays on your device until you delete it in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall it. A backup copy may remain in your Google account according to your backup settings and Google's retention rules. Google Play and RevenueCat keep purchase records, and Google keeps ML Kit diagnostics, according to their own policies and legal obligations.

17. Security

App data is stored within Android's application storage. Network requests use HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the App uses standard Android storage and network protections.
