1. Who is responsible
Street-Smart Kids: Parent Guide is published by Velixy, the trading name of Md Mehedi Hasan, sole proprietor, of Village Shakdah (Uttar Para), Post Penchibari, Dhunat, Bogra 5850, Bangladesh. For any privacy question about this App, contact creativecleancode@gmail.com.
This policy covers the App only. The privacy policy for the velixy.app website is separate, and each other app we publish has its own policy.
2. Scope
The App's Android package identifier is com.velixy.streetsmartkids.parentguideapp.
The App provides educational safety scenarios, bookmarks, progress tracking, quizzes, and reading streak features for parents and caregivers. Stranger Safety is available as free ad-supported content, while other chapters may require the optional premium unlock.
3. Information handled by the App
You can use the App without creating an account or directly providing your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment card details to Velixy.

4. Local storage and Android backup
The App uses an Android Room database and Android DataStore preferences to save progress on your device. Android backup is enabled. Depending on your device, Android version, Google account, and backup settings, the operating system may securely back up the App's database and preferences to your Google account or transfer them to a new device. This process is controlled by Android and your backup settings, not by Velixy servers.
5. Google Play purchases
The App offers an optional one-time premium unlock through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Velixy does not receive or store your payment card number or full payment account details.
The App checks your purchase status to unlock premium content, remove ads after purchase, and restore access
if you reinstall the App using the same Google account. The product identifier used with Google Play is street_smart_kids_premium_unlock. Google Play
handles purchase confirmation, payment processing, receipts, refunds, and
purchase history under Google's own terms and policies.
6. RevenueCat purchase management
Purchases are validated and entitlements are managed using RevenueCat, a service of RevenueCat, Inc. When you open the App or make a purchase, the RevenueCat SDK sends the purchase receipt issued by Google Play to RevenueCat so that your premium status can be verified and restored on your devices.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier that the SDK generates on your device, the Google Play purchase token and product identifier, entitlement status, your store country, and basic technical information such as the App version, platform, and device model. The App does not sign you in to RevenueCat and does not send your name, email address, phone number, or payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play.
Collection of advertising and device identifiers by the RevenueCat SDK is switched off in the App. The App does share its Firebase analytics app instance identifier with RevenueCat, so that purchase and renewal events can be attributed to the same anonymous analytics record described above.
7. Firebase services
The App uses Firebase services from Google, including Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, and Performance Monitoring. These services may process app usage events, screen views, device and app information, crash data, performance diagnostics, notification tokens, and related technical data.
This information is used to understand how the App performs, to diagnose crashes, and to decide which features to improve. It is not used to identify you personally, and no account is created.
8. Google AdMob advertising
The App displays banner advertisements and may display an interstitial advertisement after a quiz. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Ads are intended for the free version of the App; premium users should not see banner or interstitial ads after their purchase is recognized.
Google may process information such as the App name, advertising or device identifiers, IP address, general location derived from IP address, device and operating system information, ad impressions, interactions, and diagnostic data. The exact data processed can depend on your device, region, consent choices, Google settings, and the ad served.
9. Remote image service
The App loads chapter and scenario images from Picsum Photos. When an image is requested, Picsum Photos and its hosting or network providers may receive standard request information, including your IP address, request time, requested image URL, and technical device request data.
10. Children's privacy
The App is designed as a parent and caregiver guide for discussing safety topics with children. It is not intended to request personal information directly from children, and the App does not include an account registration or social posting feature. Parents and caregivers should supervise children's use of the App.
11. Your choices
- Clear local App data through Android Settings or uninstall the App.
- Manage Android backup through your Android or Google account settings.
- Restore access through the App's restore purchase option, or manage purchases through Google Play.
- Manage ad personalization in Google My Ad Center and Android advertising settings.
- Use the App offline to prevent new ads from loading.
- Use the App offline to prevent uncached remote images from loading.
12. Retention and deletion
Local progress remains in the App's storage until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. A backup copy may remain in your Android backup according to your Google account settings and Google's retention rules. Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase records according to their own policies and legal obligations.
13. Security
App data is stored within Android's application storage. Network requests use HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the App uses standard Android storage and network protections.
